Hands-on product training for engineering professionals.
RSA believes in continuing to progress through educational opportunities in the field of automation. The creation of RSA University was the first step in sharing this belief with our customers, friends, and partners. The university is on-site at the St. Charles office and provides its visitors with a high-tech classroom environment, hands-on product testing and features, and a Parker learning center. Give us a call so we can include you and your team in our collaborative learning environment at RSA U.

Cognex Training: EasyBuilder and Spreadsheet Classes
The RSA University regularly offers hands-on Cognex training. Trainees have their own work stations that include: a PC running the appropriate In-Sight version, Cognex vision system w/lens, I/O board, discrete control device, and sample parts. The class is a combination of detailed instructor presentation, interaction, and demonstration. Everyone is then required to tackle the same classroom scenarios in their lab assignments. Each trainee leaves with the text book including all the labs from the class.
During the two day course, trainees will deploy a complete Cognex vision project from start to finish. Our vision expert and instructor, Charlie Mayton, has over 16 years of real world deployment experience with Cognex software and equipment. The University accommodates up to 6 individuals for Cognex training, but the ideal class size is 5. When booking the classes we try to limit the size to 5 so everyone gets the special attention they expect (we will be open to 6 if there are 3 people from the same company in the class). A light breakfast and full lunch are provided both days.
If you are interested in signing up or learning more, please contact Charlie Mayton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
